| Description: | Alpaca Meadows is a "family friendly farm" raising ribbon winning suri alpacas. We are home to Full Accoyo Multi-Colored Champion, "Matterhorn", and our herd represents bloodlines from both the West Coast and the East. We strive to provide a clean, quiet, stress-free environment for our alpacas and treat them in a respectful manner which results in alpacas with calm dispositions. We focus on fiber and enjoy spinning and knitting fiber from our own animals as well as providing luxurious and warm finished alpaca products for sale in our farm store. Choosing a breeder that has good business sense, is honest and forthright, and is educated in this market - this is as important as choosing the right animals. Advice passed down to us from generations before is "stick with the winners" and "find someone who is a success and emulate what they have done". This is what we strive to do today and we now offer to you our experience in getting started or adding to your own herd. |
